Thanksgiving Place Card Printables
I love Thanksgiving, pumpkins, watercolor and tablescapes. So, naturally when I wanted to do a free holiday printable this year the choice was easy!! The best part is you don’t have to be super fancy to use these cards - they’re free! Be the hero of the tablescape when you print these place cards at home (last minute, even!), cut them out and make your guests’ names beautiful.
Place Card Printable
This totally FREE printable is available in the shop - you can check out the link at the bottom of this page to head straight there.
What’s Included:
A digital download of a PDF (2 pumpkin cards per page)
How to Use
Once you download the PDF, just open it and hit print! You can use plain copy paper or your local craft store’s generic card stock. If you choose to use card stock, make sure you check your printer settings to let it know it’s going to be thicker paper feeding through.
When the place cards are printed they include a little border so you know where to cut. After they’re cut, use that beautiful brush lettering you’ve been practicing to show off your skill to your guests!
Other Ideas
Food Labels - Tape little toothpicks to the backs!
Thankful Garland - Write what each person is thankful for and clip them to a hanging string for garland.
That Board Tho
First off, I’ve been itching to do a cool charcuterie board! Have you seen what I’m talking about? There’s such an amazing trend right now with these beautiful boards of snacks and knick knacks .. so insta-worthy, so yummy! I’ve been researching on Pinterest and I’ve even followed this whole chain of designer charcuterie boards. Guys. It’s a thing, and I’m HERE for it.
I didn’t really know where to begin, so when I’m staring a big ol’ question mark, I first head to Trader Joes LOL. I hit it at just the right time - great little pumpkins and lots of fall-themed snacks! Literally everything on my ‘charcuterie’ dessert board is from TJ’s with the exception of my beloved Savannah Bee Company honey (oh, and the actual board is from Hobby Lobby).
Putting it together was so fun and not as stressful as I anticipated. I wanted lots of different textures and keeping the colors in the Fall range to coordinate with the free printables I wanted to include.
Those delicious watercolor textures were a big part of what would make these place cards pretty for place settings. I wanted to keep it loose, so I quickly painted four separate pumpkins. Watercolor is never the same twice so all the pumpkins would look slightly different but coordinate within the same palette.
