Tips & Tricks
Checking the mailbox to find something besides bills IS THE BEST! Snail mail can be a time consuming labor of love so I’ve outlined a few tips and tricks to help speed up the process!
Sealing Envelopes: Licking all that glue - GROSS! Grab a small paintbrush and dip it in water. Make sure the bristles aren’t too wet and lightly brush it across the envelope seal glue. It’s so fast and easy - your tongue will thank you!!
Addressing: You don’t have to be an excel-pro to benefit from keeping your contact list in a Google sheet. I’ve provided the template that I use to keep all my mailing contacts straight here. It’s also a great way to check off the ones you’ve already addressed - color coding is your friend!!
Postage: if you have a Sam’s Club or Costco membership, it’s a great place to buy stamps in bulk. When I know I’m going to be mailing things, I add it to my shopping list so I can pick them up while I’m out instead of waiting in the super long post office line! You can also purchase different designs of stamps on USPS.com!
